Business Development Representative

Position Overview

Critical to the success of Qvidian’s sales team, the business development representative is responsible for evangelizing Qvidian’s value proposition to prospective customers, and securing their interest in further engaging with a Qvidian field sales executive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute territory and account strategies to grow business and achieve defined goals.
  • Work alongside Qvidian field sales executives to proactively prospect Qvidian sales execution solutions into targeted and regionally assigned accounts. This includes: researching and identifying key account contacts; cold-calling and emailing prospects to generate initial interest in Qvidian applications; delivering qualified leads to field sales.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads (including leads from trade shows, webinars, and other ongoing marketing programs) to deliver qualified leads to field sales.
  • Understand the critical pains of our target prospects (sales cycles, win rates, quota attainment) and articulate the value that the Qvidian solution provides in helping companies achieve better sales execution.
  • Maintain accurate and current information in Salesforce.com.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience; start up and/or small company experience a plus
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com
  • A ‘hunter’ mentality, comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and following up on incoming leads.
  • Outstanding communication skills — both oral (phone) and written; must be articulate, crisp, concise
  • Possess excellent listening skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn — and to implement and provide feedback/lessons learned — within a fast-growing sales organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet sales objectives

User Experience UX Designer - Contract

Are you a strategic minded UX consultant who can help drive the creation of our longer term user experience? If so, Qvidian has a super exciting opportunity for a UX geek to become part of a team to build out an improved user experience for our existing users as well as map out a vision for the development of new capabilities for a new user community. Our commitment to our customers and users is second to none in our market. We are flexible and move fast.

Responsibilities:

This project will be approximately 6 months with 30 day milestones. You’ll work with a rock solid, innovative core team of product managers and a fellow designer to develop this vision and achieve an end goal of:

  • Interaction design improvement plan of recommendations for existing users
  • Interaction design plan for new users
  • Validate concepts and designs through testing of prototypes with customer and internal stakeholder conversations

You need to be great at:

  • Interaction design – your specialty – journey mapping, interaction patterns and very high level prototypes
  • Organization – establish a design plan and validation strategy that is realistic and timely.  This engagement will not need to begin with research, we are ready to go.
  • Communication – excellent presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, which allow you to communicate complex – often abstract – design concepts clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders
  • Listening… and getting up to speed fast!

Must haves:

Extensive experience in leading large scale UX projects on enterprise business applications

A killer portfolio with experience that matches the needs of our project

Professional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital UX design. Experience with mobile also desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product), human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field
  • Extensive experience collaborating with engineers, implementing designs and creating test-ready prototypes in an agile development environment
  • Substantial knowledge of prototyping tools (for example, Axure, Balsamiq, InVision, Sketch, Codepen) and design tools (for example, Adobe CC)
  • Intimate familiarity with web accessibility guidelines (508/ADA compliance)
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with, and some experience in some or all of the following: Foundation, Bootstrap, GIT, Javascript (jQuery, AngularJS), SASS
  • Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills

In-House Legal Intern - Contracts

  • Qvidian is seeking an in-house legal intern for a contract review and analysis project to begin immediately.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to in-house legal environment at a SaaS company.
  • This is an on-site paid position in Chelmsford, MA and will be full time during the summer with reduced hours once the semester starts to meet your academic schedule.
  • A cover letter detailing your availability, past work experience and interest in contract work is desirable.

  • Must be currently enrolled in law school and actively pursuing a law degree.

Manager Product Marketing/Product Management

Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager is a key role on the Qvidian team with the responsibility of defining go-to-market strategies, collaborating cross-functionally, and creating the core messaging and positioning that differentiates and accelerates Qvidian’s position in the market. Working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams, this role will create sales assets, collateral, tools and other materials to support our overall marketing and selling strategies, as well as thought leadership materials to demonstrate our innovation and market leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall marketing plan with successful go-to-market and go-to-customer strategies and approaches.
  • Define and manage marketing and communication strategy for product launches.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience, 5+ years specifically product marketing in B2B software.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong verbal communication and written skills (sample writings required).
  • Outstanding people and management skills interacting with colleagues and cross-functional teams, as well as outside third parties.
  • Creative thinker with ability to garner insights from multiple inputs and drive innovative ideas.
  • Excellent project management skills with high attention to detail and quality.
  • Technical acumen with strong capability to take product knowledge and translate into compelling sales and marketing content.
  • Aptitude to work at a fast pace and manage multiple projects while balance shifting priorities.

Director of Sales

In this role, you will lead the effort to create the model sales organization as you drive revenue growth and reinforce the company’s position as market leader. You will oversee our Regional Sales Managers who are responsible for acquiring new business. We need a Director who is strategic; able to define the go to market strategy and vision for sales, and a hands-on leader able to drive sales success.

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the CEO and VP Marketing define the go to market strategy across market segments.

  • Passion for sales effectiveness and drive for company success; values and uses technology as a tool to enhance effectiveness.
