What happens in Vegas shouldn't necessarily stay in Vegas. We're back from an exciting few days at the CEB Sales and Marketing Summit. The show drew almost 1300 senior sales and marketing professionals from companies of all size from across the globe. Kudos to the #CEBSummit team for hosting yet another great event. Qvidian was thrilled to sponsor the event for the 5th time - and knowing this group and the distractions in Vegas, we kicked off the conference with a custom coffee barista at our booth. Attendees stopped by to enjoy a fresh brew before the meetings began. 

CEB welcomed attendees near and far to to their annual summit to discuss the challenges commercial sales teams are facing in today's constantly changing environment.  Truly understanding the needs of your buyers' is critical to today's market; CEB shared a few suggestions from our Impact Assessment and Sales Execution Maturity Model as an example of a way to learn the challenges facing buyers. As many attendees are familiar with the Challenger sales methodology and we thought what better way to rev up engines for 2016 than to giveaway miniature Dodge Challengers. We even had a fun remote control ones at the booth, too! We had lots of attendees ready to take their new giveaways out for a spin, hope you got a chance to drive if you were there! Tuesday finished off with "Cigars, Cocktails, and Conversations" at the Cosmopolitan Hotel's Chandelier Bar. There was great conversation, even better libations, and was a unique opportunity to sit and chat with our team. 

The excitement kept going on Wednesday as Qvidian's VP of Alliances David Blume presented "Not all proposals end in Marriage- even in Vegas". To help attendees end in more happily-ever-afters, Dave dove deeper into the role of the sales proposal in today's buyer-centric world and shared proven strategies to better align your content with buyers' decision-making behaviors. As we boarded the plane to return back to Boston we could only think of one phrase to describe our partnership with CEB and the great conversations we had ... VIVA LAS VEGAS!!
