Introducing Sales Playbooks iPad app!

I’m excited to announce our Sales Playbooks & Analytics Fall Release and Qvidian’s Sales Playbooks iPad app. We’ve spent a lot of time talking with our customers, learning from Sales Executives, observing sales organizations, and developing this new functionality; I hope you’re as excited about these new features as we are!

If you (and your reps) are tasked with using the most appropriate content, strategies, and tools to win business, you can now:

  • Energize and streamline playbooks with using new kinds of rules and conditions behind the scenes to trigger plays and content specifically for each selling situation.
  • Provide deeper integration with Salesforce – Driving rules from all Salesforce objects allows plays to make sure the best content is always part of the selling process.
  • Make it even easier for reps to gather and use information from multiple sources by streamlining workflows with expanded “Smarturls” capabilities
  • Expanded configuration of CRM Updates now automatically updates deal stage changes in Salesforce. This eliminates unnecessary time spent cross-checking deal status in playbooks to deals status in Salesforce. This type of closed-loop data update gives sales managers and execs a confident and accurate pipeline.

The Sales Playbooks iPad app is designed to help sales people prepare for meetings, share relevant content while on the road or onsite with customers and generally complete steps in a sales process. Like the browser version of the application, it’s totally synced up with Salesforce.com (keeping deal data up to date!) The simple user interface of the app saves reps time and frustration. How do I know this? We tested this with many reps in the field and watched their eyes light up when they realized how easy it was to use.
