Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for maintaining best-in-class relationships with their Qvidian customers. They will develop, nurture, and sustain positive and productive long-term relationships to optimize our clients’ return on investment in Qvidian solutions. Expectations are for the Senior Account Manager to fully understand the customer’s business, strategies, and needs, and to effectively partner with our Product, Services and Support teams in order to ensure customer success, retention, and to expand product usage.


  • Ultimate ownership of the customer relationship, and each customer’s success and satisfaction with their Qvidian solution through collaborative interaction with the Qvidian team
  • Establish and maintain successful, ongoing customer relationships that result in high renewal rates, on-time renewal payments, and expected expansion bookings that align with the customer’s strategic direction
  • Define and execute territory and account strategies to grow business and achieve defined goals as follows:
    • Develop account penetration plans
    • Build, manage, and enhance mutually beneficial and collaborative long-term customer relationships through effective communication with key executives, decision makers, and influencers
    • Function as a thought leader and be viewed and act as a trusted advisor within the customer organization
  • Build references to support business expansion objectives.
  • Master an expert-level understanding of Qvidian’s solutions, industry trends and customer strategic contexts.
  • Accurately forecast anticipated expansion sales and renewals.
  • Demonstrate effective presentation and demonstration skills.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of successfully selling software products to our lines of business i.e. sales, marketing and professional services.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions is highly desirable
  • 5+ years as a successful account manager selling to senior sales executives, with a successful track record expanding relationships and driving add-on business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a broader team to successfully deliver customer solutions that lead to customer satisfaction and success.
  • Experience using preferred.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop relationships with senior executives.
  • Possess strong detailed product/technology/industry knowledge.
  • Exhibit superb account planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent executive-level presentation and communication skills, including ability to create powerful sales and management materials in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Ability to lead successful customer meetings.
  • Minimal travel requirements.
